About the Green Acre Hen House
The Green Acre Hen House is a large hen house to accommodate 10-12 laying
hens.
As well as looking great in any garden the hen house is very practical
and is handmade from top quality materials in our workshop.
It is made from fully pressure treated 22mm thick shiplap timber cladding
and a heavy fully pressure treated timber frame. All cladding is fixed using
screws for extra strength.
The roof is made from corrugated non-drip galvanised sheeting in a dark
green colour. Each end of the corrugated sheet is capped to prevent rain
blowing back under the roof.
Ventilation is provided at each end of the roof overhang.
Large front pophole door with galvanised hinges and secure bolt closing.
Large rear door hinges down to provide a full open back to make cleaning
easier. Eggs are collected via the same door.
