Shiplap Timber
We use quality pressure treated 22mm (approx 1 inch) thick smooth planed shiplap timber.
Wire used in Runs
All our wire is heavy 16gauge 1inch square galvanised weld mesh. - NOT chicken wire which is nowhere near as strong and deforms easily.
Ventilation
Ventilation is one of the most important features in poultry housing - poor ventilation leads to respiratory problems in poultry. Our arks and houses all have roof ridge ventilation which allows air circulation.
Perching
Perching in our housing has rounded edges for the comfort of the occupants.
